In the late 1970s, KISS was the hottest rock band in America. The band created larger-than life stage personas complete with their own unique make-up and costumes. They were especially popular with kids, because of this, and it lead to multi-million dollar licensing deal, which included things like a Marvel comic book and this series of dolls by Mego.
