Before Jakks Pacific lost the license to WWE, they cashed in on their most popular line by re-releasing figures from Series 1 and Series 6. Series 1 was re-released in full with the exception of The Ultimate Warrior. Classic Superstars Series 6 re-releases included only Doink, Shawn Michaels, Hawk and Animal. Both were re-released at the same time but in separate cases. The re-released version's carding shows "Ages 8+" on the side as well as a security warning along the bottom of the card
