Senior Airman Jason D. Cunningham, Pararescueman 38th Rescue Squadron U.S. Air Force and Captain Nathan E. Self, 1st Battalion U.S. Army 75th Ranger Regiment. Commemorates the battle of Roberts Ridge in 2004 in which Airman Cunningham was posthumously awarded the Air Force Cross for sacrificing his own life to save 10 severely wounded soldiers. Captain Self recieved the Silver Star for his actions in the battle. This was also the battle in that Technical Sergeant John A. Chapman, Combat Controller 24th Special Tactics Squadron was posthumously awarded the Air Force Cross and Chief Petty Officer (SEAL) Britt Slabinski, U.S. Navy was awarded the Navy Cross.
