DC Superman (Animated and Man of Steel)

Man of Steel wave 1 included Power Flight Superman,
Laser Superman,
Superboy,
STEEL, and
Conduit!
Hunter-Prey Superman & Doomsday, Massacre vs Superman, and Cyber-Link Superman & Cyber-Link Batman made up the Man of Steel two packs. Each were released with a comic book! Another Cyber-Link Superman & Cyber-Link Batman would be released, exclusive to Walmart with trading cards instead of comic book.

Lex Luthor, Solar Suit Superman, Kryptonian Eradicator, Street Guardian Superboy, Ultra Shield Superman, and Street Guardian Superman were planned for the second wave of Man of Steel. However, Street Guardian Superboy and Kryptonian Eradicator would be unreleased. A couple years later Eradicator would be available as a Toyfare exclusive!
Ultra Heat Vision Superman, and STEEL (chrome silver color), made up the deluxe Man of Steel figures in 1996!
Kryptonian Battle Suit, Superboy V-TOL Cycle, and Matrix Conversion Coupe Car with Clark Kent made up the Man of Steel playsets by Kenner.
Crusader Batman with Power Flight Superman, Future Batman with Solar Suit Superman, Ultra Armour Batman with Ultra Shield Superman were released in the second round of Man of Steel two packs. They would be available exclusively internationally, where the figures were more popular!
Ultimate Superman was produced at 10" in height, as well as a cloth suit Superman, exclusive to Kmart stores!
Metropolis Bank Playset (With Man of Steel packaging), and cloning lab playset were shown at Toy Fair 1996, but cancelled! International markets would see the Metropolis Bank, released with Animated Superman packaging instead of Man of Steel. The cloning lab did not see release in any Superman form, but the mold of the set would be used at least twice in the Batman series by Kenner.
Capture Net Superman, Deep Dive Superman, Quick Change Superman, Neutron Star Superman, Evil Brainiac, and Lex Luthor were released with the first wave of Animated Superman figures. One Deluxe figure was available too, with Superman with Vision Blast.
After the first assortment, Kenner would release all four Superman's from Series 1 yet again, but with the eyes of the figures corrected so they wouldn't have such a hollow appearance.
Clark Kent was packed with the Red Conversion Coupe Car.
Released in 1997 (shows 1996 on packaging) were Electro Energy Superman, Capture Claw Superman, and Omega Blast Darkseid. Two deluxe Supermans were available with Flying and City Camo!
A Kryptonian ship was scheduled and shown to media at Toy Fair 1997, but would be cancelled.
Superman vs Darkseid would be available only in Europe! This two pack was packed with a coloring book, and a slightly different version of Darkseid than the Series 2 version of Darkseid.
Evil Bizarro, Supergirl, Metallo, and three version of Superman: X-Ray Vision Superman, Power Swing Superman, and Tornado Force Superman. Deluxe Supermans Ultra Shield and Kryptonite Escape were also part of this series.
This wave was originally planned to be an international exclusive, until Diamond Comics distribution worked out a deal with Kenner to see them distributed in the United States!
Superman, Supergirl, Metallo, and Bizarro would be packed inside this Superman themed box set. There would be another four pack set but in Batman Adventures packaging, with Superman, Batman, The Joker, and Lex Luthor.
Superman's Animated show had aired since 1996, but it took nearly 5 years for the stars of the show to receive her first figure. Lois Lane, along with Superman, Lex Luthor, and Brainiac would be packed in the Battle for Metropolis set by Kenner.
Fortress of Solitude Superman, Anti Kryptonite, and Strong Arm Superman would make up the basic Superman figures in this wave. Also included was Deluxe Cyber Crunch Superman (European exclusive).
Superman's final figure by Kenner/Hasbro would be this one, an Animated Superman figure re-release on a small blister card that read Man of Steel. This figure was also packed with Batman on similar small carding. These two figures may have been exclusive to KB Toys
(unconfirmed).
