Fantastic Four > Toy Biz

The Fantastic Four line would be released at the same time as the Iron Man line and there would be several similarities between the lines. Both lines have 4 series (Iron Man had a 5th but it was cancelled due to poor sales). This figure line would offer lots of new villains and heroes that were previously unreleased. The line would look a bit more cartoony than previous figure lines, mostly due to the fact it was modeled after the Fantastic Four cartoon series.

Series 1 ( 33 images) - Released: 1995
- The first lineup of characters and figures would be a really good start for this line. Not only did they give us all 4 fantastic four characters, but we got alot of other supporting characters as well. Though, 2 of the 4 fantastic four members were just repaints of other figures, it was still a nice touch.
Series 2 ( 23 images) - Released: 1995
- This series gave the other two fantastic four members who only got repaints in the last series brand new figures. In addition to that, we were given several new supporting characters that really added to the line. Still, some of the figures had a bit of a cartoony look to them. But, they did fit in well with most all the other marvel figures.
Series 3 ( 23 images) - Released: 1995
- The third lineup gives a whole host of new villains and a few new heroes. The lineup originally contained an Adam Warlock figure, but it was dropped for some reason. Attuma replaced him in the series.
Series 4 ( 18 images) - Released: 1996
- The fourth and final series would give some remakes of figures, as well as a few new ones. This series was smaller than any other series in this line, but the figures are a little more detailed and a little bigger. All the figures in this line came with a platform of some sort.
