AB Toys, manufacturer of Dragon Ball Z figures in the late 1980's, was responsible for the figure molds that other toy companies like Irwin Toys used when making their assortments of DBZ figures. In 1989, the figure molds by AB toys would be used/imported by companies like Giochi Preziosi, Kidz Biz, and later Bandai and Irwin Toys.
