Infinite Concepts was a fresh upstart in 1999, rethinking the design and shape of toys. The man behind the plan was Terry Lattimer, who might be known best to toy collectors for designing the original WWF Bone Crunching Action Figures in 1996. But a few years later he would go to the Nether-realm..I mean ToyFair (1999), showing off samples of his new Mortal Kombat line. Infinite Concepts was able to acquire the license for MK figures after Lattimer showed Mortal Kombat creators Ed Boon and John Tobias his concept for Goro!
The figures featured Center of Gravity Joint Integrity Technology, or "C.O.G.J.I.T."
Low sales led to only one series of these stylized Mortal Kombat figures being produced, however at least 1 more series had been sculpted and made it to the prototype stage. Images of these figures can be seen in our figure database.
